01 / How it works

How autonomous cleaning robots work

During setup we map your building and mark out the areas each robot should clean, along with any zones to avoid. Your team then sets cleaning schedules through the app, and the autonomous cleaning robot plans its own route, steering around people and obstacles as it goes.

03 / Which robot

Robot vacuum or floor scrubber: which do you need?

For light dust and everyday upkeep on hard floors, a commercial robot vacuum such as the C30 or C40 is usually enough. Larger hard-floor areas with heavier dirt or spills, such as warehouses and supermarkets, tend to need a robot scrubber dryer like the C55, which washes and dries the floor as it goes. Many sites use a mix, and we'll recommend the right combination after a site visit.

Yes. You can schedule cleaning for times when the building is empty, within the robot's battery and charging limits.

They take on repetitive floor cleaning, which frees your cleaning team for detailed work such as washrooms, surfaces and spot cleaning.

It depends on your floor area and surfaces. The C40 suits mixed hard floors in offices and hotels, while the C55 is designed for large open areas. We'll recommend a model after seeing your site.

Daily checks such as emptying tanks and bins, plus periodic replacement of brushes, squeegees and filters. Our service plans cover planned maintenance and repairs.

The KLEENBOT C40 is designed to work on short-pile carpet as well as hard floors such as marble, wood, tiles and vinyl. If carpet makes up a large part of your site, we'll confirm the best option during the survey.

KEENON quotes up to 600m² an hour for the C30, up to 1,100m² an hour for the C40 and a theoretical maximum of 2,376m² an hour for the C55. Real coverage depends on your layout, obstacles and how dirty the floor is.

Yes. The C30 and C40 return to charge automatically, and the C55 can use a workstation that also handles clean water and drainage. The C40 and C55 support quick battery swaps for longer shifts.

KEENON lists lift and gate integration for the C55. Whether it works on your site depends on your lift system, which we'll check during the survey.

KEENON fits the C40 with ten detection components, including LiDAR, dual stereo vision, four line lasers and three ultrasonic modules, so it can work around shoppers, guests and staff. The C55 combines roof-mounted LiDAR with four stereo vision sensors for 360-degree awareness.

Yes. The C40 and C55 support multi-robot collaboration, which lets larger sites split cleaning zones between robots and manage them from one dashboard.
